2016 might just be a good year for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.The Frenchman, nick-named Pog-Boom for his powerful shots, was recently one of 11 players selected for the FifPro World XI.

Pogba has already made headlines in 2016, by making the “dab” dance popular in Football by performing it during celebrations.

The dance originates from Atlanta rap group Migos, and their hit song “Dab”. Outside of Football, other athletes such as quarter-back Cam Newton have performed the dance in games.
Pogba had a slow start to the 2015-2016 season, but both he and his club have made a comeback. Juventus is now 2nd in Serie A, bouncing back from a 15th place position. Juventus has also qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League, and is due to face German giants Bayern Munich on the 23rd of February.
The FifPro nomination is unlikely to be his only trophy this year.

Pogba made a bold move by switching to the number 10 previously worn by the likes of Michel Platini and Alessandro Del Piero. Now it is time for him to prove his worth of wearing it. And Dab while at it.
It seems that a lot of sports players make up their own popular dance. Who do you think will come up with the next dance. It is interesting to see what some people do.
I think a basketball player might come up with something; it’s the only sport that’s missing a dance. I think it’s nice to see athletes promoting artists and movements and I wonder how this will all pan out.
He is good and he will maybe be the new Cristiano Ronaldo if he continues like that.
I think he will be a legend like Cristiano, but I think he’s a different player. It will be very exciting to see him develop.
